Our name says it all. Every child who walks through our door leaves a handprint on our hearts — and we hope to leave one on theirs, too. We are a warm, close-knit preschool in Westchester where children are known by name, celebrated for who they are, and encouraged to explore the world at their own pace.

To provide a teaching curriculum through developmentally appropriate practices for young children. By supporting children to understand themselves as active learners and working together with peers, we help develop critical thinkers who are curious and socially responsible in a safe and nurturing environment.
In practice, that means we follow the child’s lead. A question about a bug becomes a science lesson. A pretend firehouse becomes a lesson in teamwork and community helpers. A bowl of batter becomes a lesson in counting, measuring and patience. Play isn’t a break from learning here — it is the learning.
